The StyleSeeker Launch event embodied the spirit of the new webiste by creating a one-stop destination offering back-stage fashion and beauty news, tips and tricks from the most savvy style authorities and sneak previews of what’s hot for winter. The guests, on-line editors and bloggers, captured all the action on Kodak’s Zi6 pocket digital video camera and took home their own footage on a memory card courtesy of Kodak. Guests also received beautiful blow-outs from Tresemme and backstage secrets for fabulous holiday hair from renowned stylist Erin Anderson, while indulging in a skin-soothing winterberry manicure using hot new holiday hues from Creative Nail’s celebrity nail artist. Perfect holiday party fare from Bite Foods was served as chef Nick Hosea shared secrets to the simple steps behind creating his tasty delicacies and delicious cocktails that make any host look like a master chef. Plus, this fashionable group got the low-down on tips to spice up holiday décor from Estella Lugo, founder of Modern Dose, how-tos for the holidays and unique gifting ideas from Good Home founder Christine Dimmick, fashion forecasting and sneak previews of H&Ms Comme De Garcons collection, footpetals stiletto kits for a flawless fit in winter’s most fashionable footwear and take-home timepieces and tip-offs on upcoming accessory trends from Timex. Guests took home a giftbag brimming with sophisticated gear, inspiring gifts and insider guides to holiday style.

An intimate group of esteemed New York editors gathered at Luxe Laboratory for an insider preview of 101 Fresh Ideas for Spring from Smith & Hawken. Guests began the night with a pear-sake spritzer and delicious hors d’oeuvres reflecting the Zen-inspiration behind S&H’s forthcoming collection. The Japanese cuisine was created in front of onlooking guests in the Luxe kitchen by Momoya’s celebrity chef Ariki Omae, of Nodu fame and recently featured with Chef Morimoto on The Food Network’s Iron Chef, before guests descended to the chic studio of designer Rebecca Cole where legendary Guy Wolff threw pots on site.

Bernardaud Launches their Summer 2008 Jewelry Collection

All things French was the theme for the premiere of Bernardaud’s newest jewelry collection. Bernardaud, famous for their porcelain, has expanded their line to include jewelry, and invited editors and influencers to an intimate preview at the Luxe Lab. Hosted by Claudette Blackwood, PR Director of Bernardaud, the event took place on a beautiful June morning. Along with the stunning porcelain jewelry, the food from Bouley Bakery, and the beverages from St. Germain were a hit!

Fruits, Quiches, Breads and Teacakes were among the food served.

The jewelry was showcased on the glasstop dining room table in the Lab.

Guests enjoyed hearing Robert’s story of his history in jewelry design while they looked at the collection.

Brooke Shields Hosts Tupperware’s Camp Confidence

The Luxe Lab was host to the 2008 Launch Party for Tupperware’s Camp Confidence. Tupperware CEO Rick Goings and Actress Brooke Shields were the hosts of the evening. Camp Confidence offers women around the world a confidence makeover through a panel of experts, or “Confidence Counselors,” who provide tips and advice in their respective areas of expertise. The confidence counselors are Bethenny Frankel, Health and Wellness expert and star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of NYC, Laura Rowley, Finance Expert, Carie Brescia, Beauty Expert, and Logan Levkoff, Relationship Expert. The Lab was bursting with gorgeous flowers arranged in Tupperware from Rebecca Cole. The food, served on Kitchy Tupperware serving platters was done by Bite Catering.

Elle Decor Dinner With Margaret Russell

Editor in Chief of ELLE DECOR Margaret Russell and Celebrity Stylist Robert Verdi made the perfect pair to host the ecclectic group of prestigious design influencers for this intimate seated dinner party at Luxe Laboratory. Robert welcomed guests into his ever-stylish event space, a living testimonial to Robert’s good taste and the perfect setting for this stylish crowd. Margaret infused the evening with a singular sense of sophistication. Both style-setting hosts swiftly put this high-profile group at ease as the evening culminated into a veritible meeting of minds of the design’s most talented insiders.

Glasses of Piper Heisdeick Champagne welcomed guests at the door as they embarked upon a delectible cocktail hour featuring passed hors d’oeuvres and a specialty summer cocktail. Bite catering wowed the diners with a menu kept light for the warm summer evening, in the vein of spa cuisine. Each course offerred very chic, high-end, delicious savory treats as Bite’s founding partner Scott Skey simultaneously cooked and entertained from the open kithcen at Luxe Lab,

There were no luxuries left behind in this, the most amazing gift bag ever assembled! Whether a jet-setting designer traveling across the country, or a publicist in need of relaxation, these bags had it all. Guests were thrilled to receive an autographed book from Rebecca Cole, a 12 piece candle set from Molton Brown, an assortment of Kiehl’s Skincare products, a set of Wusthoff steak knives, Vosges Chocolate, five flavors of Altoids, an ELLE Decor Magazine, and a Longchamp Totebag to take it all home in.
