Dazzling white florals and hundreds of candles set the scene as the birthday girl’s closest friends and family enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres from Fig & Olive paired with fine wine from Spain’s Rioja region and Piper-Heidseick champagne. The party continued late-night as guests were swept away to 1Oak, where even more of Liya’s friends surprised her with champagne and cupcakes and the Misshapes kept the dance floor crowded long into the night.

Top beauty and lifestyle editors gathered at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory for the unveiling of Jurlique’s Biodynamic Beauty Range. Jurlique CEO, Eli Halliwell and VP, Dr. Florian Wolf discussed the history of Jurlique and biodynamic methods while  a biodynamic tasting was offered for editors to sample a range of delicious biodynamically produced food and wines, primarily sourced from local family farms.

Celebrity natural food chef Bethenny Frankel was the ideal hostess for Pepperidge Farm’s launch of their new Baked Naturals as editors and friends enjoyed her custom hors d’oeuvres and took home a rafia-bound set of recipe cards for each dish. The event took inspiration from today’s popular organic movement to create an atmosphere that was incredibly eco-chic through lush arrangements of wildflowers that subtly incorporated wheat, vegetables, and organic herbs.

Bethenny’s recipes were perfectly paired with Pepperidge Farm’s Baked Naturals.
